Hello visitor and welcome to my blog.

My name is David, I’m a 21 year old student living in Aberdeen, Scotland.  I was born and lived on the Shetland Islands till I was 19. I still consider Shetland to be home.

I’m currently studying TV production. I also work part time at Original 106 FM, Aberdeen’s newest commercial radio station.  I present Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings (10pm - midnight), Saturday evenings (6pm-10pm) and produce the stations new music/culture show hosted by Andrew Learmonth, the Sunday Showcase, which airs every Sunday between 6pm and 10pm.

I setup this blog because I bought the domain davidrlewis.com and didn’t really have anything to put on it.  There’s no real point to it, and I didn’t think it would last. That was 2006, the blog is still here, although I have hidden a lot of the posts since then.  Not deleted, I want to keep them in case I ever need to write memoirs.
